EARLY and late goals secured Buxton a place in the second round for the second year running against a Merthyr team who were a credit to the hundreds of fans who cheered them throughout.
Diego Di Girolamo fired the Bucks in front from the penalty spot inside five minutes before Jason Gilchrist made it safe with a second two minutes from time.
