RYAN HAYES’ last-minute penalty saw Phoenix Sports secure promotion to Step 4 against local rivals VCD Athletic.
The nerves were clear to see in the early exchanges as neither created anything of note in an unsurprisingly cagey affair, though the second-half was much different.
Ryan Sawyer watched his header come off the crossbar, before Tashi-Jay Kwayie missed a glorious opportunity to put his side in-front.
