WELLS FORCED DOWN

HEMSWORTH Miners Welfare have been booted out of the Northern Counties East due to ground grading issues at their Football MDC Sports Stadium.
The Wells, who came eighth in the Premier Division, will now play in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League next season.
Their place at Step 5 will be filled by Goole AFC, who finished second from bottom of the Premier Division and are now reprieved from relegation.
A Goole statement said: “We all wish our friends at Hemsworth well.”
