NEW-look Pitmen earned a point from their opening game having started with a squad that had only three players left from last season.
Tom Thorley, Jack Sang and player-manager Danny Glover took to the field at Keys Park for the much anticipated opener against Trafford, who were already two games into their campaign having overcoming Golcar United after a replay in the FA Cup.
The visitors took the lead in the fourth minute when Will Hall headed home from a dubiously awarded free kick.
