WOOD LAND U’S ACE LIAM

BOREHAM Wood have landed midfielder Liam O’Neil following his departure from League One side Cambridge United.
The 30-year-old began his career at West Bromwich Albion before loan moves with Finnish club VPS and Scunthorpe United led to a season at Chesterfield and then six years with the U’s, where he made over 150 Football League appearances.
Wood boss Luke Garrard said: “Liam is someone who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our dressing room.”
