MOUSEHOLE’S firstever Southern League game on a Saturday at Trungle Parc produced an evenly-contested encounter containing plenty of end-to-end action, near misses and squandered goal chances.
The hosts began positively but Bashley – who just missed out on a playoff spot on the last day of last season – were swift on the break and quick to press, which formed the pattern for much of the rest of the match.
