THE hosts departed the FA Cup against higher opposition in St Albans City, in a well-contested tie yesterday.
After the sides cancelled each other out in the first 20 minutes, Leiston came into the game and Joe Marsden controlled a diagonal ball on the left to burst into the box and slipped in Jamar Loza, who dribbled around a defender and saw his shot deflected just wide of Michael Johnson’s left-hand post.
