■ IN a reverse of last weekend’s FA Trophy tie, Pontefract welcomed Stockton Town to West Yorkshire and were happy to return the favour by exchanging cup defeat for three league points.
Inside 20 first-half minutes Ponte hit the front; Jack Boyle saw his effort saved, but Adam Haw raced in to bundle the ball home and break the deadlock.
