The hosts took the lead five minutes before the break, when Marley Blair curled home from the edge of the area.
Sheffield equalised after 53 minutes, Benni Ndlovu getting tripped in the area, with Luke Mangham drilling the penalty home.
Sedge retook the lead, with Alex Wollerton nodding in Blair’s deflected cross.
