THE play-offs were delayed by offfield issues and only went ahead on Friday evening.
Sporting Bengal United’s best ever season continued as Sidi Haidara saved three times in the penalty shoot-out to beat runners-up Woodford Town 5–4 after the 90 minutes at Ashton Fields had ended 1–1.
Woodford took the lead on the stroke of half-time when Alex Bolovan’s free-kick caused panic in the box and James Jewers beat Haidara from close range.
Seven minutes into the second half, Enock Soganile was red carded for a last-man foul on Tanvir Ahmed.
