NORTHERN PREMIER
NICK Spooner questioned whether to stay on as Hyde United manager after suffering last-day heartbreak.
The Tigers occupied a play-off place in the NPL Premier going into the final round of fixtures for a second successive season, only to again slip out of the top five.
It was a cruel end for Spooner’s side who had been in the play-off spots for much of the campaign but were pipped to a place in the knockout stages by Worksop Town.
