COMBINED Counties Division One side Langley have appointed Michael East as manager following a mass exodus in the wake of the departure of his predecessor Max Johnson.
Ten players left following Johnson’s decision to step down, forcing Langley to field a makeshift side for their home Berks & Bucks Senior Cup tie to Berks County where they were hammered 11-1.
East, a former Tring Athletic assistant manager and Aylesbury Vale Dynamos and Chalfont St Peter joint boss, has installed as the new man in charge of the Merrymakers.
