MACKEN ‘HONOUR’

FORMER Premier League star Jon Macken says he is “honoured” to take over a club with the proud history of Stalybridge Celtic.
Macken has occupied the Bower Fold hotseat left by James Kinsey, who left the Celts last week after less than 18 months in charge.
Kinsey led the club to a mid-table finish in NPL West last season and leaves the club in promotion contention after more than a third of the season played.
