n RYAN Pennery’s emphatic penalty finish set the wheels in motion as FC Portchester finished the day four points clear atop the Premier Division after a 3-2 home win over Hamworthy Recreation.
The striker’s 34th-minute penalty was cancelled out by a leveller in first-half stoppage-time before Connor Duffin restored their slender lead 20 minutes after the restart, Lee Wort added another as time wound down.
The visitors hit one back late on to set up a nervy finish, though it didn’t last.
