GEORGE Whitefield’s excellent headed finish and a sixth strike of the season for Samir Carruthers saw Dartford extend their winning streak to seven league games away at mid-table Wingate & Finchley, suffering their 12th defeat in 25 matches.
Yet it was a cruel ending for the hosts, who had momentum and chances aplenty against play-off hopefuls playing with ten men for the final half-hour after forward Sam Okoye was shown a second yellow for timewasting at a throw-in.
