■ AFTER two weeks without a game due to the weather conditions Sutton were back in action at Coles Lane against AFC Rushden & Diamonds
Straight from the kick off Owen Parry won a penalty when he was bought down. He took the resulting penalty but Ben Heath in the Rushden goal made a diving save to his right.
Parry made up for his missed penalty when in the fifth minute he picked up a clearance and lobbed the advancing keeper.
Parry scored his second just four minutes later when he picked up a clearance and converted with ease.
