TOMMY-LEE Higgs’ 44th-minute penalty gave Bognor a vital three points against rock-bottom Bowers & Pitsea in their fight to stay up.
On ten minutes, Higgs played a nice ball down the line to Jasper Mather, who ran through and unleashed a shot after he had darted inside from the left.
Charlie Brown pushed it away and then Matt Burgess followed up with a shot high over the bar from the edge of the box.
