LATE BASSETT BRACE PUTS HAMLET IN REAL TROUBLE

DANNY BASSETT hit a late double as Lewes came from an early goal down to take the Premier Division spoils at Champion Hill thanks to three second half goals.
Bassett now has 17 goals for the season for the Rooks as Hamlet’s relegation fears were reignited as a result of this defeat.
Lewes came into the game on the back of picking up three valuable points against Hendon at the Dripping Pan, while Hamlet secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 2025 London Senior Cup by beating a youth Charlton Athletic outfit on Tuesday night.
