BOGNOR kept their hopes of staying up alive thanks to Jasper Mather’s fourth-minute winner at Nyewood Lane.
The only goal of the match saw Lennie Smith’s strike pushed away by the goalkeeper straight into the path of Mather, who bundled it in on the rebound.
Aaron Williams-Bushell went into the book for tripping Calvin Davies on 52 minutes as frustrations began to show from the visitors.
Davies fired in a high free-kick deep into the box and Harvey Rew rose well but his header went wide of the post.
