BOWERS ended their recent barren run as two goals from striker Max Fiddes gave Luke Wilson his first victory as boss.
The already-relegated club had not won since victory at Hastings in December, losing their last 11 fixtures.
But they were to spoil the party in Jay Saunders’ first match as Folkestone manager after leaving Tonbridge Angels.
Fiddes opened the scoring in the 44th minute when he thumped home after being played through by Luca Albon.
