Athletic storm into the final slot

DOVER won their shoot-out for the final play-off with Chichester at Oak-lands Park.
Charlie Bennett, who came on for Curtis Da Costa after only 13 minutes, won the hosts the first corner of the match at the mid-point.
Chi skipper Rob Hutchings delivered deep to Emmett Dunn and Isaac Bello’s cross was cleared before Lewis Rustell’s overhead kick broke the deadlock.
It was all square, though, some ten minutes later when George Nikaj ghosted in to head home a Dover corner before a rather cagey opening 45 came to a close.
