NEW manager Chris Robson believes the time is right to step up to the hotseat at Barton Rovers.

Robson has been part of the coaching staff at Sharpenhoe Road for the last twoand-a-half years and, alongside previous boss Jermaine Hall, helped lead Rovers to a fourth place finish in Southern League Division One Central.
A play-off semi-final defeat to Flackwell Heath ended hopes of promotion but now having taken over as number one from Hall, Robson believes the club are well positioned for another crack.
