FANS’ favourite Ben Goodliffe says he didn’t need persuading in rejoining Southend United on a permanent deal.
The popular centre-back has completed a return to Roots Hall on a two-year contract following a free transfer from Colchester United.
Goodliffe spent the second half of last season on loan with the Shrimpers and played an integral role in the club’s run to the National League Promotion Final.
