TAUNTON Town have picked up promotion winning midfielder Jacob Towns following a successful trial.
Midfielder Towns arrived at Wordsworth Drive earlier this summer having helped Hartpury University win promotion to Step 4 last season.
Peacocks boss Richard Luffman said: “I was told to watch Jacob by his former coach at Stoke and Forest Green last season.
“We went out, had a look, and he impressed immensely in an excellent Hartpury team.
