FEARS are growing that Bognor Regis Town will be delayed in their bid to be in action on the new 3G pitch at Nyewood Lane by October.
The £1.3m project will see the grass pitch ripped up and a synthetic surface laid as well as new dressing rooms being built and floodlights replaced.
Work means the Isthmian South Central newcomers will have to start the season playing home games at Chichester City, but drainage issues could hold up the Rocks’ return.
