LIVERSEDGE and Sheffield, newly relegated from the Northern Premier League, drew 2-2 with a brace by the hosts’ Ben Atkinson sandwiched by goals from Alex Hardwick and Nathanial Crofts for the Club.
Division One champions Horbury Town opened with a goalless draw at Knaresborough Town but Jordan Kershaw missed a penalty for fellow promoted side Wombwell as they went down 1-0 at Thackley courtesy of Paul Walker.
