Oxford City graduate Jayden Carbon says he is ‘buzzing’ to have landed a move to Championship club Middlesbrough.
Carbon first joined City as an eight-year-old and spent time in Reading’s academy before returning to the fold. He has family history with the club too as dad Josias also turned out for the Hoops.
The versatile 19-year-old netted five goals in National League North last term and scooped the club’s Young Player of the Season honour.
It led to talk that big Football League clubs were tracking him and, ultimately, it was Rob Edwards’ Boro who swooped in to sign him ...
