QUITE how Sittingbourne are still at Step 4 side is anyone’s guess.
The Brickies, under boss Ryan Maxwell, have accumulated a total of 176 points, scoring 199 goals over the last two seasons, only to suffer play-off heartache on both occasions.
Having finished 11 points clear of them in the league, Maxwell’s men were strong favourites to beat Burgess Hill Town in last year’s play-off final, missing out only after a nerve-jangling penalty shoot-out.
