BURGESS Hill continued their promotion party as a stunning strike from Chris Whelpdale was enough to give them victory at Potters Bar.
Bar had their first chance when Nana Kyei wrestled back possession in the box, but he was well hounded out as he looked to shoot.
Kyei was on hand to provide a chance for Lindell Stewart minutes later, but he was also unable to get a shot away from very close range.
Potters Bar keeper Jack Berman produced a super save to tip a header over the bar as the game approached the half hour mark.
