ESSEX Senior League side Ilford came within minutes of causing an FA Cup upset, but in the end have to settle for a replay against Ware of the Southern League Division One Central.
After hitting the crossbar in the first half, it was the Foxes who broke the deadlock through a great strike from Michael Adu after 56 minutes.
However, Ware got back on level terms when Theophilus Ofori converted a penalty after Ilford were penalised for handball.
