BASINGSTOKE and Plymouth Parkway shared the points in a hard-fought encounter impacted by an early red card for the hosts.
The big moment of a first half that was otherwise frequently interrupted by the referee’s whistle, came just after the quarter-hour mark when ‘Stoke defender Scott Armsworth was dismissed for a last-man foul in pulling back Callum Hall after the midfielder robbed him of possession.
Simon Grant saved the resulting free-kick, only for Ryan Brett to convert the rebound.
