FARNHAM Town’s unbeaten start to life at Step 3 looked dead in the water before late drama unfolded at The Memorial Ground against a spirited Wimborne Town side to start the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The hosts got off to a fast start and thought they had struck an early opener when Ogo Obi’s volleyed effort looked destined for a top corner, only to be denied by a fingertips save from Cameron Plain in the Wimborne net.
