■ MICKLEOVER overcame their poor start to the season with a dominant win over Rushden & Diamonds.
Archie White opened the scoring with a 12th-minute penalty for Mickleover, but they had already tested Lewis Elsom in the Rushden goal.
Andy Dales made it two with a left-foot volley just before half-time.
The home domination continued when White scored his second from a Dales cross early into the second half.
Bruno Andrade pulled one back for the visitors after 63 minutes, before Rushden struck the bar with a penalty eight minutes later.
