■ ANSTEY Nomads secured a first home win as they overcame Rugby Town in an exciting game at Cropston Road in which both teams had their chances.
A 33rd-minute goal from Rugby Town skipper Sam Tye forced the Nomads to change their approach if they were to get anything out of the game.
Their equaliser duly came three minutes before half-time through a penalty converted by Tendai Chitiza and they were able to build on that in the second half.
