AN early goal by Luke Childs was enough to give Lichfield City victory at Carlton.
The visitors got the only goal when a training ground free-kick routine was finished by Childs inside the opening ten minutes.
Although Liam Moran had an excellent opportunity to equalise with a free header, Lichfield weathered the Carlton pressure and got to half-time with the advantage.
