SWINDON SUPERMARINE claimed a convincing win over Willand Rovers, despite a lively start from both sides.
Brooks Leipus had struck the post in the opening stages, for Marine, while Willand’s Tom Bath saw an effort deflected just wide.
The visitors created clearer first-half chances, with Bailey Kempster and River Allen forcing strong saves from Luke Purnell, but Marine took control after the restart. After 49 minutes, Leipus then crossed for Sal Abubakar, who slotted home.
