CASEY Bartlett’s 85th-minute penalty was enough for Fareham Town to edge out Ascot United in a game of two halves.
The Creeksiders might have been out of sight before half-time only for wayward finishing.
Firstly, Jamie Arnold and Dan Sibley both fired wide early on, before both players missed further gilt-edged chances and Will Ayre somehow skied over the crossbar when it looked easier to score.
