A DOUBLE from Josh Barrett either side of half-time was enough to help Aldershot into the first round proper.
Dorking starting brightly inside the opening 20 minutes, but the visitors eventually showed their National League quality.
On 43 minutes, an audacious chip from Barrett from 18 yards out nestled perfectly into the top corner.
The goalscorer turned provider minutes later as he whipped in a fantastic free-kick from the right which landed perfectly on onrushing Kwame Thomas’ head which saw Harrison Foulkes well beat...
