UNBEATEN South Shields remain sailed through to the first-round of the FA Cup – underdogs Spalding blown away by three early goals.
The Mariners took a sixth-minute lead when Cain Sykes’ floated cross was put away by Paul Blackett’s overhead kick, which was spilled into the net by Tulips keeper James Dadge.
Nine minutes later the lead was doubled. Will Jenkins won the ball in midfield and played through Caden Kelly, who comfortably slotted into the bottom corner.
