LEISTON moved up three places to seventh in the league after a solid win over Stamford.
The pitch held up well despite heavy rain the previous day, allowing both sides to settle quickly. Adam Mills fired over from outside the box after eight minutes before Seb Dunbar and Ben Fowkes combined neatly on the left, Fowkes shooting narrowly wide of Thomas Jackson’s post.
