IT ended honours even in a competitive affair, but St Ives will probably be happier with a point which keeps them safely mid-table.
The draw, though, does little for struggling Royston who remain seven points from safety.
The game started at a lightning pace with the Crows going in front in the ninth minute when Kwadwo Bugei-Kyei was allowed to roam forward into space and beat the diving Ollie Taylor low to his left from 20 yards.
