Guernsey boss Tony Vance says his side want to secure the best possible scenario for themselves if they have to settle for the play-offs.
The Green Lions have hit their stride after relegation to the Southern Combination Premier last season, making it 11 wins in their last 12 matches with a 4-0 victory in their last match, at Bexhill last Wednesday night.
After a mixed start to their first campaign back at Step 5, Vance’s team have begun to edge up the table and sat third ahead of yesterday’s scheduled visit of Shoreham.
