HIGH-FLIERS AFC Stoneham cruised through to the semi-finals of the FA Vase with a comfortable victory over Coventry United at Stoneham Lane.

Two goals from Mat Bainbridge, either side of an Oliver Jenkins strike, ensured the Purps, nine points clear at the top of the Wessex Premier Division table, reached their third semi-final of the season.

The visitors, from the United Counties League, came out of the starting blocks the quickest, forcing Callum Lee into a brilliant early save.
