RICAY HAVE SCOPE FOR PROMISING NEW START

ANIGHTMARE after Christmas left Billericay Town questioning their promotion credentials – but boss Danny Scopes always believed they could have this dream ending.
Back-to-back defeats to lowly Canvey Island and Hashtag United saw the Blues ten points outside the top five and just six above the drop zone.
But 17 wins and a draw in their next 19 games saw Scopes’ side build up an unstoppable head of steam that continued into the play-offs as they secured promotion back to Step 2.
