EAGLES MAKE A SMART CALL

TALENTED coach Harry Smart become one of English football’s youngest managers at the age of 28 and insisted: ‘I’ve earned my stripes’.
Smart has stepped up from his role as assistant to take the top job at Bedford Town following Lee Bircham’s decision to step down after the National League North season last week.
Bircham was announced as the new Hemel Hempstead Town boss last Sunday and within 24 hours the Eagles revealed they had put their faith in his number two Smart to succeed him in the New
