Gary Johnson gave Dan Burn his first steps on the road to a World Cup when he took the giant defender on loan at Yeovil as a 20-year-old.
Now, 34, the Blyth-born centre-back is a mainstay in Newcastle’s defence and a huge favourite of England boss Thomas Tuchel.
