FROM the outside, you may think that summer is a time when people in football get time to relax and detach from the day to day work that consumes us during the season.
While that might be true of players, who will be taking a well-earned break before the rigours of pre-season kick in again, the rest of us are as busy as ever, setting everything up so we’re all ready to go again come August.
No sooner has the dust settled on the season than the leagues begin the process of formalising promotions and relegations, sorting out league allocations and the various administrative task...
