CAPTAIN JOSH JOINS UNITED

HAYES & Yeading United have managed to prize Ascot United captain Josh Edwards away from the Yellamen.
Defender Edwards bids farewell to the Berkshire club after making 112 appearances since his debut during the 2023/24 campaign.
He will be an invaluable asset to a United side that finished a respectable ninth last season, 12 points adrift of AFC Portchester in the final play-off spot.
Edwards will be joined at the Skyex Community Stadium next season by former Farnborough and Dover midfielder Kurtis Cumberbatch and ex-Bracknell, Basingstoke and Hartley Wintney defender Joe Gater.
