THE World Cup has been keeping us entertained for a couple of weeks now and something that has caused a bit of a stir are the hydration breaks.
Of course it’s right that players have drinks breaks when playing in severe heat — player safety must always come first.
However, what we’ve seen is that they are also being used for mini team talks with players regularly crowding around iPads.
Not only that, there seems to be a clear commercial aspect with broadcasters showing adverts during the breaks.
