IT’S A RECORD YORK CROWD

MAIDENHEAD United smashed their club record for their highest ever pre-season attendance with the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ first team on Wednesday night.
A massive 3,226 turned up at York Road as the Magpies entertained the Championship new boys in a match held as part of the deal which took defender Max Kilman to Molineux in 2018.
Mateus Mane secured victory for the visitors with the only goal of the game on 57 minutes but Ryan Peters’ men gave a good account of themselves.
The attendance surpassed the 2,600 that turned up to watch Maidenhead take on West Ham...
